Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong. ====== action cam ====== I bought a bunch of cheap action cams. Here are some notes about it. ===== firmware and specs ===== Gotta find this back out of history/memory ===== video editing ===== Those cams output large files, shitty encoding. Let's try to fix this. A ''vider_videos.sh'' script takes care of pulling the video files out of the camera. Then the processing should be automated. Goals/roadmap/dreams: * find the right codec to use (keep quality, reduce size) * all of this from CLI tools so it can be scripted and automated * use a Docker container with the required tools, and a bunch of scripts * plug that to some ''.gitlab-ci.yml''-like automagic pipeline ==== Links ==== To be studied: * [[https://www.rigacci.org/wiki/doku.php/doc/appunti/linux/video/ffmpeg]] : XiaoYi Yi vs ffmpeg notes * [[https://holger.tk/tech/2017-06-actioncam/]] ffmpeg stabilization actioncam/start.txt Last modified: 2019/05/27 11:43by tom
